Daylight Savings

Daylight Savings

Sunday, March 8th begins the season of Daylight Savings, so get ready and spring your clocks forward! By this day, Mercury will begin to appear near the east-southeast horizon to share the sky with Venus and according to the Farmer’s Almanac, March’s Full Moon, will reach its’ peak on the ninth. While, more time is being added to each of our days, think flannel and what more time of comfort could do for you!

It is hard for me to think up resolutions for the year, but in the spring, after the year has begun, and robins slowly begin coming back to the Northeast Kingdom, I have gotten a small taste for the year and I begin to think about the importance of the rest of it. Each day is important and it affects what we choose to make of tomorrow.

Think about what you want to do with your extra hour. Even though, technically, the “extra” hour only happens that first day, think about how to carve an hour out for yourself everyday: to read a couple of the chapters of that book you’ve been meaning to, bake yourself cookies, go for a walk and admire the slow onset of new seasons, get a coffee, watch a show, buy a shirt, but do something for yourself each day to appreciate the little moments. The little moments are what Vermont Flannel® products strive to enhance for our customers with comfortability and quality handcrafted in the United States!

So on the day you’re springing your clocks forward an hour, just make sure you also set a time for yourself too!
