The Vermont Flannel Co. will donate $5.00 from the sale of every Flannel Scarf sold through March 27th to help support the Penguin Plunge and Special Olympics!
There are many ways to support; either by physically participating, plunging virtually/remotely, volunteering, donating, or purchasing a “FLANTASTIC” Flannel Scarf for yourself and a loved one!
The Penguin Plunge is a unique winter event where participants take a dip in Vermont's icy lakes to raise funds for the Special Olympics. On Saturday March 27, 2021, the Special Olympics is hopeful to host a re-imagined event, in person, at the Burlington Vermont Waterfront, where a limited number of participants can take the traditional plunge into Lake Champlain (General Plungers Only).
The Special Olympics Penguin Plunge event series supports a movement that works year-round to foster inclusion and acceptance of people with intellectual disabilities by using the power of sport to showcase their gifts and abilities.
