We double-brush our flannel for maximum softness! Brushing flannel on both sides helps guarantee Vermont Flannel feels ultra soft, on the inside and out. We make this extra effort because your comfort is important to us. We want you to enjoy the softest flannel possible.
Our fabric is tightly woven, so they won't shrink like other flannel! At Vermont Flannel, our flannel is yarn dyed first and then woven to our specifications. Vermont Flannel is a tighter weave than most other flannels. Therefore, it does not shrink like regular flannel; it has a shrinkage rate of about 3-5%. That is why Vermont Flannel products look great and offer the same comfortable fit wash after wash. Wash cool, dry low!
Vermont Flannel products are hand-cut and sewn in the U.S.A. Our products are expertly handcrafted by our artisans and we personally oversee the fabrication of each product to guarantee the quality meets our high standards. Upon a closer look, you'll notice seems that won't unravel, extra strong pockets and vivid patterns that will delight you! We sew our products with more stitches per inch and bar tack/safety stitch all products for extra strength. We’re dedicated to comfort and quality, and that’s why we remain committed to making our products in the U.S.A.
We do sell scraps, for quilting and other sewing projects! We sell them for $1/lb, and are happy to ship via UPS. The customer pays for the shipping. Please call our Johnson location to order, 802-635-3682.
VICTORIA A.The colors are lovely and the fabric and workmanship are far and away better than any other flannel shirts out there.
MARYBy chance, we were in town on a Sunday morning and the store was open. My husband is not a person who like shopping , but to my surprise once he felt one of your flannel shirts, he had to have one. The quality of flannel is this material that I remember as a child. Thick, comforting and just something that you won't take off in the winter. I'm now coming back for more and plan on getting my Christmas list done here for him and my elderly uncle. A plus is that it's made in America, too, so you can't get any better than that.
JOHN GARISONI've lived in Vermont the last 11 years and when I moved here one of the first things I did was buy a Vermont Flannel shirt. I still have it, plus several more. The longer I wear them, the more comfortable they get. Good value, great colors and styles, and they are the best things to wear throughout the long Vermont winters.
CHERYLBought a pair of Flannel Lounge Pants at the Big E fair in Mass one year. Let me tell you 4 years later I live in them! The quality of the flannel is unmatched. I expect to enjoy them for years to come.
